Do you want to get away?

Our customers are given the opportunity to access all of the bounty and beauty of the Deschutes River, as it cuts through Central Oregon on its way to the Columbia River. The surrounding basalt canyons and high desert environment set the backdrop for this mighty river. We help you to truly experience the outdoors with extravagant dinners, riverside camping and fabulous fishing. The Deschutes River is well known as one of the best places to fly fish in the world. It offers anglers the opportunity to fish for wild rainbow trout and steelhead, providing fun and exciting days of fishing all summer long.

There's nothing better than a nice warm meal after a long day spent fishing on a beautiful river. Homemade meals like fried chicken, New York steaks and cinnamon rolls in a dutch oven are only a glimpse of the wonderful dishes that the guides and baggage boatmen serve on each trip. You can't beat fresh blueberry pancakes, sausage, and eggs to start off you day! Our baggage boatmen take out the hassle that is normally associated with camping, by having the camp all set up and ready when you drift in after a full day of fishing. Plus, sleeping under the stars, or in a tent, gives complete access to the great outdoors.

R's Outdoors, Inc holds a Bureau of Land Management Special Use Permit for the Deschutes River, is licensed, insured and bonded, and all guides have Oregon State guides licenses. Trips are available throughout the summer months in 3 or 4 boat configurations (2 people per boat). So leave your cell phones and computers at home, and enjoy getting away from it all on a custom guided trip with us.

If a 3 day trip isn't in the cards for you right now or you want to experience a different river, come join Randy on the Yakima River in Central Washington for a half day or full day float trip. Randy holds a Washington State Guides license as required for operating guided fishing trips in Washington. We float the section of the Yakima River that runs between Yakima and Ellensburg. This river offers some wonderful views of nature, wildlife (deer, big horn sheep, turkeys and eagles during different times of the year), and of course don't forget the fabulous trout fishing that this catch and release river offers. You can come over for just the day or we can assist you with securing lodging nearby to help make your trip a multiple day experience. Come see why we call the Yakima River Canyon our home!
